Terms of Service

Armed Crab Games

Effective date: September 2, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Armed Crab for playing our games — including Void Remnant and Glimmertide, and any other Armed Crab game unless that game publishes its own terms. They cover what you're getting when you play or make a purchase, and what we each agree to. If anything here is unclear, email us at armedcrab@gmail.com.

These terms are between you and Armed Crab, not Google. Google Play distributes our games and processes purchases under its own terms, but it isn't a party to this agreement.

Who can play

Our games are general-audience games. You need to be at least 13 years old to play them (or the age your country sets for agreeing to terms like these, if higher). There are no accounts to create, so there's nothing else to sign up for.

Your license to play

When you install one of our games, we give you a personal license to play it: non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable. The game is licensed to you, not sold. That license is for playing — not for copying the game, extracting its assets, or redistributing it.

Virtual currency and virtual items

Some of our games offer in-game currency and items — in Void Remnant, ore packs and Void Patron status; in Glimmertide, currency packs and Tidekeeper's Blessing. A few things to be clear about, because they matter:

Purchases and refunds

All purchases are processed by Google Play — we never see or store your payment details. Refund requests go through Google Play's refund process first; Google handles requests made within its own refund window. After that, you can email us at armedcrab@gmail.com and we'll consider refund requests case by case, consistent with applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits any refund right the law of your country gives you.

What's ours

The games, their code, art, music, characters, and worlds belong to Armed Crab. Your license to play doesn't transfer any of that to you. Streaming, screenshots, and videos of our games are welcome — enjoy.

Fair play

Please don't cheat, exploit bugs for advantage, tamper with save data or purchases, or abuse the refund process. Our games are single-player, so mostly you'd be cheating yourself — but purchase and refund abuse affects us directly, and we can decline to serve players who do it.

Ending things

You can stop playing any time — uninstalling removes the game and, as our privacy policies explain, your local data with it. We can suspend or end your license if you materially break these terms. And honestly: games have lifespans. We may retire a game or stop updating it; where a game is retired, purchases already made stay restorable for as long as Google Play supports the app.

No warranties

Our games are provided "as is." We work hard on them, but we can't promise they'll be free of bugs, always available, or compatible with every device. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Armed Crab's total liability to you for claims relating to a game is limited to the amount you paid us for that game in the 12 months before the claim, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages. Some places don't allow parts of this limitation — where that's you, those parts don't apply, and nothing here limits rights consumer law gives you that can't be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you live somewhere whose consumer-protection law applies to you regardless of this clause, that law still protects you.

Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we'll change the effective date at the top and note material changes in the next release notes of the affected games. Continuing to play after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Effective date of this version: September 2, 2026.
